Masterful Massage Therapy

didn't do any x-rays but instantly wanted to give me a cortisone shot and prep me for surgery in a couple weeks. Being a single mom there was no way I could circum to having surgery, especially that fast. A friend at work suggested I get a second opinion with a chiropractor and gave me the name of 1 that was close and accepted our insurance. I made the call and was seen almost instantly. The chiropractor had a LMT that worked in the same building and suggested I see her first. The massage was not the most comfortable thing at first but ended up being the best thing for me. She was able to find the pain I was having in my lower back was not my spine as the doctor suspected but my psoas muscle. She gave me a few exercises to do in between my therapies. It took 4 months but my life was back to normal with no surgery, no down time, no loss of pay, no time away from my children, and no medication. This was my awakening moment. I love to help people and the human body is such an amazing machine. Massage Therapy was the best of both worlds. I went to Chattanooga Massage Institute in Hixson and received my license in Oct 2015. I worked with my mentore for 1.5 years and spread my wings Sept 2017. I have built the fastest growing massage business in the past coue years and am looking forward to helping ao many more with their pain and discomfort in the future.
