We are fatties! We love exploring new restaurants and we're happy that Viet Buffet is opened in Rogers, AR. Although its 1.5 hours away from us, we have gone 3 times since they opened and they were always busy!
You can find Vietnamese food such as crispy pork belly, banh cuon, banh xeo, pho, banh mi, sweet pork, grilled quail, banh bo hue, Vietnamese curry, etc.
So yummy!

Imagination unlocked! They couldn't go on their electronics so they made a lot of mess. But with mess, came out their Imagination!
Delilah made an animal roller skating rink named "Deli's Rollerskating" for school.
Edison made a Captain of America shield; Godzilla spitting out the nuclear pulse; and the bridge scene from Kingdom of Planet of the Apes.
Mommy lent a hand but the ideas were 100% theirs. We used what we had in our stashes of toys and crafts.
We don't always get a lot of snow in Arkansas but we got enough snow this weekend to go outside and play! No appropriate snow gear? No problem. I used plastic bags to cover their shoes/boots and vinyl gloves to put over their cotton gloves. This kept the snow from sticking onto the gloves and shoes/boots. It does the job!
No sled? We used an old laundry basket and the lid to a large storage bin. The kids have been in and out all weekend to sled and play in the snow...they are having so much fun!

These are too cute to eat! But into our tummies they go.
These are called Meishan pigs that my mother-in-law has been raising. What started as a 2 pigs has now grown to over 30 pigs and piglets! They are super cute as piglets but grow into some very fatty and meaty pigs. These pigs are not aggressive at all and are very docile.

Have you ever been to a Sumo Wrestling event? We went to our very first one in Hot Springs, AR and I tell ya, it was an eventful night! Our evening was full of screaming and yelling and clapping!! We had so much fun!! We all about lost our voices by the end of the night.
At first our kids were giggling when the Sumo wrestlers took off their robes, I'd be lying if i didnt giggle a little at first. 😆 However, it is very interesting to understand why they are the weight they are and why they wear what they wear. These guys are huge, not only in weight, but also in height! Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures with them but they gave a great show!
Can you tell we had fun? 😃

Can you believe it's been 3 years since we have been traveling, cheering on, crying inside, and watching Hayden from the sidelines as she has been competing in gymnastics? Time has gone by just like that as she has progressed from level 3 to level 6 and as our family has grown accustomed to the gymnastics competition season. Through all the sweat and tears, all the joyful and upsetting moments, Hayden has persevered and continue to grow stronger as an athlete and as an individual - on and off the floor.
As I tell her and her siblings, you define you and create a "you" that sets yourself apart from others.
Congratulations to Hayden on placing 2nd for All Around at the Arkansas State Competition in her age group. Also, a big Congratulations to her Coaches and teammates for a great season!
