Due to the new state regulations on Hair Salon’s because of COVID,

Hair Adventure will no longer be able to have set hours.

Hair Salons are required to be at 50% capacity. Because of this, we will have to stagger our hours to accommodate all the clients for each stylist.

Hello everyone!!!

Governor Hogan has announced that MD hair salons can open at 50% capacity as of Friday. HOWEVER, Prince George’s County was the worst hit in the state. Hogan stated that he was leaving the specific county decisions up to the counties.

Prince George's County is set to begin a modified reopening on June 1 if data trends continue downward.

That means there will be a lot of changes. We are working hard to prepare the shop to be ready. Our goal is to open a safe environment for everyone. We are gathering all the supplies and hope to be ready when the time comes.

Walk-ins will not be allowed. Facemasks will be required.

We will be reaching out to schedule appointments.

We wanted to take a minute to update you on the latest interpretive guidance from the governor’s office.

On behalf of our team, we do not feel that the guidelines/stipulations issued on 4/20, from the governor’s office, are practical to reopen at this time.https://governor.maryland.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/OLC-Interpretive-Guidance-COVID19-11.pdf

*We have 6 hair stylists and it would be impossible to choose who can work, and even with that, it is basically haircuts only, for essential personnel, who have a note from their employer.

*If we were to reopen, stylist will no longer be eligible for unemployment. Under these guidelines we would only be able to offer extremely limited hours. This would cause a financial burden to both the stylists and the salon.

We have been busy, behind the scenes, organizing our comeback for the correct time. When we do open it will be incredibly detailed and thorough to ensure the health and well-being of our team and guests. We are diligently trying to procure the safety items needed to open in the safest way possible, when the time permits.
