4th Annual Beauty Bash!

Four years. 🥹 It almost doesn’t feel real typing that. Four years ago, I was nervous, unsure of myself and honestly just trying to make it work. I didn’t know if Skin Studio would be successful because I didn’t have enough faith in myself to believe I could actually do this. Before I even graduated, I had already signed the lease. I remember going from school to Skin Studio to paint and work on the space, fitting it between classes and being a mom. My then boyfriend, now husband, was there helping with floors, furniture, painting (& so much more) and reminding me that I was smart enough to do this when I wasn’t so sure myself.

And somehow… FOUR YEARS LATER. 🥹

Skin Studio has taught me patience, creativity, how to adapt and, most importantly, that I’m capable of so much more than I gave myself credit for. I’m incredibly proud of my team and how committed we are to constantly learning and growing. And to our clients: thank you for trusting us with your skin, lashes, brows and bodies, but also your lives. You’ve celebrated, cried, vented and shared your little secrets with us 😂. I’m so proud that Skin Studio has become a safe space for you.

Above everything, I thank God. I’m grateful for my husband, my family and everyone who believed in this dream before I fully believed in it myself. And I hope my daughter is watching all of it. 🤍 I want her to know there isn’t only one path to a life you’re proud of. You can learn a trade, work for yourself, follow your dreams and build something from what you love.

When I look at these pictures, I feel proud, emotional, grateful and EXHAUSTED. 😂 Owning a business is a lot of work, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

And I’m not finished. Maybe one day it’ll be two Skin Studio’s. Maybe three. Maybe I’m building my own little mini empire. 👀

If I could tell that nervous girl one thing, it will be: It’s all going to work out. Keep going. You’re smarter and more capable than you think.
