I’m seeking to address some issues that are weighing on me and hoping to gain some mutual understanding and patience.

Since returning back to work from maternity leave I have had a really hard time finding balance between work/ mom/ me life. I cut down my days and hours from what I once worked (before having a baby) in order to be with my son more and be the best mom I can be. The result of cutting down my availability means that I have tried to compact and accommodate a full time amount of people into a part time schedule that I can’t keep up with. I chose to continue to work because I like what I do but now that I’ve reached full on burnout, Im not able to feel that same energy.

Life happens and things come up , especially in this season of life that I’m in. There will be times when I need to cancel or reschedule. I have a baby with needs, and mostly, I have myself with needs. I am notoriously a people pleaser who has a reputation of extending availability that I don’t truly have. I am learning that I need to set boundaries for me, and although that is really hard to do, it’s completely necessary for my health and well being. If the hours that I can provide aren’t the hours that work for you, I am not your stylist. If my prices are prices not within your budget, I am not your stylist.

To the few clients that i have shared this with and have been nothing but kind, compassionate and understanding.. thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.

I know this time is temporary, I’m just giving my best while adapting and learning each day.
