Education is my passion.
My mission is simple: BE the change, and help others BE the change.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching professionals across the country about sensory sensitivity, inclusion, accommodations, and creating spaces where every individual feels seen, understood, and welcomed.
The need for this work has never been greater. Today, approximately 1 in 31 children are identified with autism, and the number of individuals requiring sensory-aware environments continues to grow. Families are searching for providers who understand their needs. Communities are asking for more inclusive spaces. The time for change is now.
This year, we made history.
At Premier, one of the largest beauty industry events in the country, we were among more than 400 exhibitors and one of the very first booths dedicated specifically to sensory sensitivity and inclusive services. What was once considered a niche conversation is becoming a movement, and I am honored to help lead that change.
Every class taught. Every professional trained. Every difficult conversation. Every accommodation implemented.
It creates a ripple effect that reaches far beyond the classroom.
Together, we're building an industry where inclusion is not an exception. It's the standard.
Change doesn't happen because one person has all the answers. Change happens when people choose to learn, grow, and do better together!
This is bigger than haircuts. This is bigger than education.
This is a movement.
And we're just getting started. βοΈπ
This little guy is level one and is seriously halarious. He has sensory sensitivity and once didnt Like haircuts. it use to be a huge struggle but now. look at him go!!!
I am proud to be a light in the day for him, and help this family become more and more successful with haircuts. Hanging with this amazing community for over 10 years has trully been one of my biggest blessings!
So, people ask me all the time if I only do kiddos on the spectrum.. and no!! I service anyone and everyone!!!
Many years ago I had a professional tell me you will attract the client that may mirror who you are.. yup this guy right here I swear has the best time ever... he didnt even know I was going to be recording him today.. he came in like this as a normal day!! man oh man am I lucky to hang with some pretty amazing people!!
!!Story times are better when you can have fun with it !!!
