It has been a long time since I talked to many of you and an even longer time since I have gotten to see your faces! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the holiday season with your families. As many of you know we welcomed baby #4 back in September and I am happy to say we were blessed yet again with another beautiful, healthy baby boy 💙 Thomas David was born September 20 at a hearty 8lbs 2.5 oz and 21 inches long. The biggest of any of our babies by a full pound 💪🏼

After 240 days on “furlough” I finally got the call offering me my position back with Ulta. I spent the next weeks of the end of my maternity leave going through all the possibilities of how I could go back to work with 4 young kids...who could watch them...could I work an opposite schedule from Jared...do I go back one or two days a week to keep my foot in the door and keep some of my clientele? At the end of the day there was only one simple solution. It’s time for mama to stay home full time. If there’s one thing I am so grateful for in this pandemic year is that it showed me what it would be like to be home full time. I thought I needed to work at least part time to keep that balance of being a mom and being myself. I came to realize that right now being myself is being a mom 100% of the time.

While I am so happy to get to spend all this extra time with my family I can’t even begin to explain how much I am going to miss all of my clients. We have been through so much together...graduations, weddings, kids, career changes, celebrating milestones and grieving losses...we’ve seen it all. I also have family and friends that have been with me since beauty school, you’re the real MVP’s 😆

In the past 10 years I have gotten the chance to work with some pretty amazing people too. I am going to miss working along side of you, learning from you and complaining to you 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

‼️ICYMI‼️Our location opened up on May 31st 🎉 Due to social distancing guidelines the salon is currently only open at 50%. Unfortunately that means I am not back behind the chair yet. I wish I could tell you a date when I will be back but I this point that is still undecided. I promise to let you know as soon as I hear anything! On the bright side Kara, Kate, Ashleigh and Sabrina will be there for all your hair needs! Hair services are by appointment only, no walk-ins will be accepted. Salon employees will be wearing masks and gloves during your appointment and extra sanitation precautions will be taken in between every client. Clients are also required to wear a face mask during their appointment. All appointments will be booked first come first serve so call to reserve your spot now!

On the top row you have a badass single mother who NEVER👏🏼 GIVES👏🏼 UP👏🏼 Not only does she devote every waking moment to making the lives of her kids better but she still finds time to keep learning and perfecting her craft. She has a passion and love for coloring hair and never backs down from a challenge.

1️⃣ First of all I want to thank all my clients for being so patient in these uncertain and confusing times. Many of you have started to reach out wondering if we have a reopen date. Unfortunately at this time we haven’t heard anything about when that will be. However I am confident Ulta is working hard to come up with the safest possible plan for reopening at the earliest possible date.
2️⃣ When we reopen I will first be booking clients who already had appointments on my book. I have a list of all your names and numbers and will be contacting you as soon as I can to schedule a new appointment. Next I will be taking appointments from my current client list and then accepting appointments from new clients. I promise I will do my best to book in that order!
3️⃣ I understand it has been a long time since we’ve been open. Ulta was the first salon in our area I heard was closing and I know many other salons are reopening this week. There will be no hard feelings or judgements for clients who may have taken their hair into their own hands or found a salon to go to during our closure.
4️⃣ I hope you are all doing well and I cannot wait to see you all soon!!!
