The Narcissist Perception

Narcissists are creatures of habit. They will revert back to behaviors they know. The tried and true.
You may ask yourself, "Why are they happier with the new supply than they ever were with me?"
They aren't. It's all an act. They are love bombing. They need ample time to hook them in. Sure, they will turn heads with their seemingly sweet words. But it's their endless promises and future faking that will reel in the new supply. Then it's all about maintaining that illusion until they are sure that the new supply is reeled all the way in to stay.

So you played with them as if they were a piano

You wanted me to be like a hypnotized rat
Following your demands like the pied piper
Until you had driven me out of my own mind

Yet like always I'll be the one who gets the blame
You'll tell the world I closed up like a clam
You'll say I was too insecure to voice my emotions
And like ants to a lollipop left upon the floor
The world will come and support you.

Sometimes, we see someone we care about heading down a path that doesn’t seem right, and it can be heartbreaking. I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. When you lie to the courts, it feels like a betrayal of trust, but when you lie to God, that’s a whole different level.

It’s important to remember that the truth has a way of coming out, and no matter how clever one thinks they are, you can’t hide from divine accountability. I genuinely pray for her—hoping she finds clarity and strength to turn things around before it’s too late.

Life is tough, and the choices we make can lead us to unexpected places. My heart goes out to anyone who feels trapped in their own web of lies. The road to redemption starts with honesty, both with ourselves and those around us. Let’s lift each other up and seek the light, even when the path seems dark. ✨
