✨ Sometimes the greatest compliment isn’t about how someone looked…it’s about how they felt.

One of my recent clients shared:

“I left feeling more relaxed and mentally healthier.” 💗

That is exactly why I created The Flow.

The Flow is a therapeutic body treatment designed to support the body’s natural physiology. Through gentle, intentional techniques, it helps encourage healthy lymphatic flow, circulation, microcirculation, and the movement of fluids throughout the body.

When these systems are supported, many women describe feeling lighter, calmer, more relaxed, and better able to handle the demands of everyday life.

Every experience is unique, but hearing that someone left feeling more like themselves is the greatest reward I could ask for.

Thank you for trusting me with your care and for sharing your experience. 🤍

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, heavy, or simply in need of a reset, I’d love to help you experience The Flow for yourself.

✨ Redness After Microneedling Is Normal—Healing Is Beautiful! ✨

One of the most common questions I hear from my clients is:

“How can I reduce redness after microneedling?”

The answer is simple: support your skin’s natural healing process.

Microneedling creates tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production. A little redness afterward is completely normal—it’s actually a sign that your skin has begun its renewal process.

To help your skin heal beautifully, I recommend:

💧 Hydrating with a gentle, fragrance-free hyaluronic acid serum
🌿 Using a soothing barrier repair cream with ingredients like ceramides and Vitamin B5 (Panthenol)
❄️ Applying a cool compress if your skin feels warm or sensitive
☀️ Protecting your skin with a broad-spectrum SPF every day

For the first 48–72 hours, avoid:
• Retinol
• Vitamin C
• Exfoliating acids
• Harsh skincare products
• Heavy makeup
• Excessive heat, saunas, and intense exercise

With over 20 years of experience in corrective skincare, I believe that beautiful skin isn’t created overnight—it is achieved through professional treatments, proper home care, and patience.

Remember, healing skin is healthy skin. Give your skin the care and time it deserves, and you’ll be rewarded with a smoother, firmer, more radiant complexion.

If you’re considering microneedling or have questions about post-treatment care, I’m always happy to help.

✨ Healthy skin is a journey—and I’m honored to be part of yours.

There are countless acne treatments available today.

Very few have stood the test of time.

I’m honored to offer Dr. med. Christine Schrammek Green Peel®—a treatment that was recently recognized as Best Peel for Acne in the 2025 Cosmopolitan Acne Awards.

What has always impressed me most isn’t just the recognition.

It’s the philosophy behind it.

Rather than simply targeting what’s visible on the surface, Green Peel works by supporting the skin’s natural renewal process and healthier skin function.

As an Integrative Esthetician, that’s exactly the kind of approach I believe in.

Because healthy skin isn’t created…

It’s supported.

And when we understand the biology, the treatment makes sense.

I’ve been thinking…

It’s interesting that we call our skin “problematic” when, most of the time, it’s simply responding to what’s happening around it.

When our skin becomes dry, oily, inflamed, or congested, our first instinct is often to silence it.

Cover it.

Dry it out.

Fight it.

But what if our skin isn’t trying to make life difficult…

What if it’s trying to communicate?

The more I study skin biology, the more I realize that healthy skin isn’t about perfection.

It’s about function.

When the skin functions well, beauty often follows naturally.

Maybe that’s why I’ve become so passionate about understanding why the skin behaves the way it does instead of only focusing on how to make it look different.

💚 Just something I’ve been thinking about…

Healthy skin sheds thousands of dead skin cells every single day.

It’s a process called desquamation.

Most of the time, you never notice it.

But acne-prone skin behaves differently.

Instead of shedding one cell at a time, those cells begin to cling together.

As they build up inside the pore, they create the traffic jam we talked about in yesterday’s Brain Bite.

Oil becomes trapped.

The environment changes.

Inflammation follows.

This is one of the reasons Green Peel® has been trusted for decades in the treatment of acne-prone skin.

By supporting healthy skin renewal and encouraging the natural shedding of dead skin cells, Green Peel helps address one of the earliest events in acne development—not just the pimple you see on the surface.

🌿 Healthy skin isn’t just about producing new cells…it’s about letting go of the old ones.

When you understand the biology, the treatment makes sense.

💭 I’ve Been Thinking…

What if we’ve been asking the wrong question about acne?

The first thing we usually ask is…

“How do I get rid of it?”

But I wonder if a better question is…

“Why did the skin create this environment in the first place?”

Healthy skin is designed to shed dead skin cells, move oil through the pore, regulate inflammation, and repair itself.

When one or more of those processes stop working the way they’re supposed to, the skin begins communicating with us.

Maybe acne isn’t just something to fight…

Maybe it’s information.

As an Integrative Esthetician, that’s where my curiosity begins.

Not with…

“What product do I use?”

But with…

“What is the skin trying to tell us?”

Because when we understand why the skin is behaving a certain way…

we make better decisions about how to support it.

💚 Just something I’ve been thinking about…

One of the biggest misconceptions about acne is that bacteria are the starting point.

They’re usually not.

Imagine your pore as a funnel.

Every day, dead skin cells and oil naturally move through that funnel and onto the surface of your skin.

But when those dead skin cells don’t shed properly, they begin to stick together.

The opening of the pore gradually becomes blocked.

Oil becomes trapped.

The traffic jam has begun.

Only then does the environment become more favorable for acne-causing bacteria to multiply.

The bacteria didn’t create the traffic jam.

The traffic jam created the environment where bacteria could thrive.

This is one of the reasons I’ve respected Green Peel® for so many years.

Rather than focusing on bacteria alone, Green Peel supports healthier skin renewal and helps normalize the shedding of dead skin cells.

By improving one of the earliest steps in acne development, it helps create a healthier environment within the pore.

🌿 When you understand the biology, the treatment makes sense.
