Marlene the Makeup Queen

Halloween part 2, got parties to go to today. I’m Catwoman. This is more of a demure glam look.

For Halloween this year I went with a half jack-o-lantern face. The first set of pictures was my first attempt, but I wasn’t quite pleased with it. I wanted to add a little more gore to the look. So I cleared it all off and started over, utilizing liquid latex and cotton for a more pealing up my skin to reveal the pumpkin look. I’ve been a bit rusty on my sfx makeup, so this was fun to do.

Ever since Covid and masks became commonplace, I’ve not worn much makeup. Haven’t really applied makeup on others, either. Decided to dust off my eyeliner and go for a little winged eye. Not too shabby!

Just did makeup for a lovely wedding party! They wanted a natural look, so I gave them all a simple eyeshadow and subtle glow. Some of them wanted lashes, but I had someone else apply them. They all look so happy! 😊

Haven’t worn makeup in a while, celebrated not having to mask up (since I’m fully vaccinated) and did a full face!

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much lately, I haven’t had many opportunities to apply makeup in the past few months. I did manage to make my husband and I look like zombies for Halloween, so I’m happy I had the chance to work with latex and fake blood again.
