It’s hard to believe that just a couple of years ago, I submitted my audition video, which was tucked away in the archives. I wrote down that goal in a notebook, and now, here we are! This year has been all about pushing the pedal to the metal, and I’ve cherished every moment of this amazing journey.

Are you utilizing smaller ktips for finer hair types? To promote healthy hair and reduce stress on the strands, it’s crucial to opt for small bonds without overloading the hair. This is where customizing the ktips becomes essential! For finer hair, extensions with half or quarter bonds should generally be replaced more frequently than full bonds. While traditional extensions may last 5-6 months, smaller bonds might only endure 3-4 months, depending on their size. This practice supports healthy growth and minimizes excessive tension on the follicles. Remember, hair extensions should seamlessly blend with your natural hair, which can be achieved by carefully considering placement, texture, and density. For this look, my guest wanted to create dimension in her hair. We’ve been relying on permanent color for coverage, so we decided to elevate her style with a lighter shade of K-tips. This choice allowed us to achieve a beautiful highlighted effect without the need for bleach, preserving the integrity of her natural locks while adding that stunning pop to create some added density!
