4.5 ⭐️my audio journey continues bc reads her audio book and I missed her voice this weekend!! Honestly the best memoir I’ve ever read- she got so deep I laughed I cried and I recommend it even if you are somehow my friend and not a Toaster yet!! I liked Claudia before but I’m totally an all in fan now (but in an I-would-show-up-and-go-to-a-comedy-show way, not in a I’m-putting-a-poster-of-her-over-my-bed way.) I really appreciated her dialogue on cancel culture & on grief and how she feels like these experiences have given her more perspective. We love Turdy Lou 💖

5🤯 I also forgot to get a kindle pic of her before I returned her but let’s talk about it. 1. I’m really loving my audio book era I’ve never been so productive after listening to the toast. 2. I realize CS Lewis is a world renowned author known for being incredible so this is not a new opinion BUT it is actually so well deserved. I don’t know why but I had a feeling it was overhyped and didn’t think it could live up to what all the pretentious men had told me but they actually had this one right!! Lewis really takes things step by step and starts with a truth that everyone can agree with just slow walking you through complex concepts and making it seem as easy as 2+2. Loved the book (slightly boring so the audio version got me through) and I feel like there were some real lines that I’ll reflect back on for years to come

4.2 ⭐️ am I becoming an audio book girly? When I couldn’t finish reading this I got it on audio and listened while cleaning/organizing/driving and it was the best reading hack so I don’t have a DNF! 😂 it’s honestly so good, great writing and the plot is the best of any plot the only thing is it’s a bit dry and very long!!

3.4 ⭐️ I forgot to take a pic on my kindle, but I promise I read it. On a witchy vibe for October. This one was cutie and the plot was plotting, but it also felt like it was for an elementary school child 90% of the time (though those few scenes make it absolutely not safe for children) I recommend for a fun read.

Cutie book for October - 3.2 stars. I’ll probably read the next book in the series because it ended in an interesting way

We finished Bentley’s first Harry Potter book! Time for bed 🌚

This book has it all- amazing and convincing storytelling, dragons, a love triangle (head vs heart), familial obligations, secrets, a shocking ending that will make you immediately pick up the next book. If you liked Harry Potter you will LOVE this. Def the must read series of the moment I am completely obsessed.

Great book—it will make you feel something so much deeper than your typical head vs. heart romance dilemma. Halperin goes somewhere most authors wouldn’t scratch the surface of. Not a feel-good but you’ll feel it deep and it was great to get out of the rhythm of all the other books I’ve been in lately. I’m pretty much obsessed & couldn’t put it down.
