Your natural lashes grow in multiple layers, and understanding those layers is one of the biggest differences between a beginner set and a strategically designed one.

✨ Top layer: This is where your longest lengths usually live. They peek up and out above the rest of the set, creating that airy, wispy, textured finish everyone loves.

✨ Bottom layer: I typically use shorter, dense (almost narrow) fans here to build a rich, dark lash line. This creates depth and fullness without making the set look bulky.

The middle layers? They’re what blend everything together and give the set structure.

Lash mapping isn’t just about choosing lengths—it’s about knowing which layer those lengths belong on. That’s how you create wispy sets, anime sets, textured sets, and so many other specialty styles while keeping everything balanced.
