This week we celebrated the women who raised us — today we celebrate all of you 💐 Happy Mother’s Day from BMC & Co.

My mom is tough, and I love her for it. She was born tough, then had 2 boys and had to get tougher. She taught me how to respect women. She was the only one that believed I would beat my first Spartan Race. She sat in the car and waited 8 hours for me. She refused to let me cross the finish line alone. That’s my mom; She’s tough, and I love her for it.

This is my mom Mary. When I tell you she’s a bad ass. Believe it. She was a single mom for me and my sister and worked her way through mortuary college. Now has been a funeral director for over 20 years.
She is my absolute rock, and I know that’s a cliché.
I call her at least once a week sometimes more.
I am who I am because of this woman.

Oh mamma, the light you are to this world is simply unmatched. You fight for life and joy every single day. Even through days where darkness wants to win, you shine. Diagnosed with ALS in 2017 you are still here! AND YOU ARE ROCKING IT! Breaking every record and providing inspiration to the masses.
This disease has never stripped you of your worth. You taught me kindness, love, and how valued showing up can truly be. You have taught me how to fight for art and remain creative. You are my best friend and greatest influence. I love you. (MEAN IT)!

I love my mom because she believes in me, even when I doubt myself. She loves me unconditionally and is always there for me, no matter what. Through every high and low, she stands by my side with love, patience, and understanding. She has a way of making everything feel okay, even on my hardest days.

What makes her such a great mom is that she leads by example with strength and kindness. She shows me what it means to be strong, to care deeply, and to keep going even when things aren’t easy. She protects me, guides me, and always wants the best for me. I’m so grateful for everything she does and for the loves she gives so freely. I wouldn’t be who I am without her.

Gwen worked hard—days on the job, nights at school—always showing me what dedication really looks like. She has been a respiratory therapist for 17 yrs. I love my mom not just because she’s my mom, but because she shaped me into who I am today. She’s been my constant, always just a phone call away whenever I need her, and she supports me in everything—no questions asked. And somewhere along the way, she became my best friend before I even realized it. She’s truly the best mom and the most amazing grandma, and I’m so grateful for her every single day.
