Barber shop funny talk!
One of my kid clients who I haven’t seen in a while because he is letting his hair grow and just had a baby brother but he he loves to talk and well so do I so…
Me: Hey mijo how are you? I haven’t seen in you forever, tell me everything. How did it go with the ice?
Sergio: well they haven’t come to my house yet (he is so serious and I’m like huh? Took me a second to really put together what he was meaning)
Me: No mijo 🤣🤣 like the snow and ice outside a couple of weeks ago the weather.
(Yall this kid is a citizen and so are his parents) I was like no mijo but it was low key so funny that he was even like oh and and started giggling, we all were.
Ya’ll need to stop scaring these kiddos 🤣🤣🤣
Then he kept on with the chisme (gossip) like nothing.

Reposting from The barber plug and Ivonensilz but I definitely loved seeing the barber and nail clips in Bad bunny’s performance last night at the Super Bowl! Thank you Benito for representing the Latinos in so many hidden cultural messages of that short performance! But for us barbers in representing how important barber and nails shops are in our communities!
Thanks Pat for letting me fill in for Ana until she returns from her shoulder recovery to do your color service. It’s always a fun time and conversation when you come visit us. Thanks also for my pain spray, I have I will probably use it all over 🤣.
Good morning clients, the ice has pretty much melted everywhere but the temperatures today will not go above 33 and will stay mostly in the 20’s. Be prepared when leaving your home to stay warm. Stay safe people.
Straight Edge will remain closed until Wednesday. Hopefully by then the streets will be safer for our clients and staff. Stay safe everyone!
If you have or know someone with a nonprofit organization needing grant money in Fort Worth Texas, I can give you info to see if it qualifies. Deadline for application is February 12th, 2026 I believe. I’m still new to this committee so I cannot give you direct answers but I can point you in the right direction.

Good morning my clients and friends, Straight Edge will be up and running all day long today Friday 1/23 unless the below freezing time advances this evening. However for everyone’s concern for safety we will be closed Saturday 1/24. We will have and/or will notify all our pending appointments and reschedule everyone accordingly. We hope you all stay safe and warm. For the homeless there are alot of shelters and churches opening up for them to stay and don’t forget your pets and plants.

I have been waiting a year for this place to open, on my commute to work from North side to Southside. Well it’s open, two weeks now on their soft opening and it’s packed. Best of luck to Con Azucar Cafe on their business. Lovely place, music is jamming! Jesse and I always do coffee before church and we loved it. Come check it out
