Let’s turn the spotlight on our content queen, McKenna! ✨🧚🏽

As our Creative Lead, she’s the force behind our posts, parties, plants, and front desk and she does it all with passion, precision, and purpose. Her presence brings light, life, and joy to Fort Worth Barber Shop, and we’re so lucky she manifested herself into our world two years ago. ✨🪴💈

A lifelong performer, McKenna has always loved bringing creativity to life — acting, dancing, singing, and collaborating with her community to create something beautiful and meaningful. 🎭💃🏽

When she’s not at the shop, she’s wrangling her two kitties(Oliver & Toby) , cooking something delicious in her green kitchen for her hubby Carlos, spending time with family , reading someone’s birth chart ✨♒🔮, dancing her heart out at a rave ✨🕺🏽, or practicing her hula hoop skills🥳.

To know her is to be loved by her. From the shop to the stage to the dance floor,McKenna’s vivacious energy is infectious and we’re all better for knowing her.🫶🏾

💈SHOP UPDATE: This week marks 11 years since we first opened the doors at in October 2014. The old garage has served us well. But soon we’ll close out this chapter of the shop and settle into a new home close by. We didn’t actively choose to leave our current location, but we do get to choose where we’re going and how we grow from here (slide for more info on that). But we’re not leaving just yet. Construction will be underway soon at our new space on the ground floor of the historic Bicocchi Building in the and we’ll be ready to welcome you to the new Fort Worth Barber Shop in early 2026. We’re currently in the process of designing an improved workspace for our staff and refining and refreshing your overall customer experience in the new space.

We’ll have more updates on the move soon. We hope that you’ll join us on this leg of our journey and I can’t wait for you to see the new digs next year.

Always cheerful and always down for an interesting conversation, Jose’s passion for barbering shows through in every detail. It’s a joy to watch someone truly pursuing their art.

When he’s not behind the chair, you’ll probably catch him diving into anime, gaming late into the night, or vibin’ at a rave.🕺🏽
A proud cat dad, loving husband, and loyal friend, Jose brings that same energy and heart to every part of his life.
