Not washing your hair every day, is essential for natural oil replenishment.

Washing once or twice a week, helps your natural oil moisturize your follicles and locks.

Not washing often, also helps hair style and curl better.

Too clean of hair is limp and has no umph to hold a curl.

You need some crunchy texture to hold curls, if you have straight hair and your hair, "never holds a curl."

I wash once a week, I get about 4/5 good hair days with my beachy straightener curls.

On my last day or two leading up to wash day, I like to do simple updo top knot styles.

Here is my style from the last two days.

Also, using clarifying shampoo first is essential to get out old product and buildup, then wash again with your shampoo of choice. Then condition hair.

If you find yourself complaining about your oily hair type... look at the ingredients in your shampoo and conditioner.

A lot of products have a lot of oils and it's contributing to your oily hair.
