I’ve gotten a lot of comments about how “quick” my hair has grown and “healthy” it looks!! Thank you, hard work pays off…
The picture on the right was 4 years ago when I began my healthy hair journey. (Yes, it took me 4 dedicated years to get here.) There was no magic fix for the breakage, hormonal hair loss, and damage I was experiencing…but here’s what I did…
• Transitioned to brunette. No more lightener on my hair at all.
• Got my hormones and vitamins tested by a hormone specialist so I could run a full panel. Worked on my deficiencies and imbalances.
• Minimized heat. I air dry at least 50% of the way before touching a blowdryer and really minimize hot tools.
• Use professional products only.
• Trims every 6-8 weeks.
