Want the perfect Smokey Eye?
Midnight Smoky Eye
Nothing says sultry like smoldering eyes. Smoky gray and black hues are the standard for this mysterious look, but Mary Kay Global Beauty Ambassador Luis Casco’s version includes a runway-ready midnight blue twist. Don’t forget to download the look’s flier so you can share this look with your customers! They can share their looks on social media with the hashtag .
1.Start by applying oil mattifier and your preferred mineral powder foundation shade for a matte look. Contour by brushing a slightly darker shade in the hollows of the cheeks, sides of the nose, the temples and under the chin.
2.Use a brow definer pencil and brow gel to create groomed eyebrows that frame the face.
3.Apply eye primer then tap Granite mineral eye color onto the eyelids with your fingers. Blend with a clean eye color brush. Line top and bottom lashlines with MK Black eyeliner or MK Steely eyeliner for a more subdued look.
4.Sweep on two coats of Black Lash Intensity® Mascara.
5.Brush Golden Copper mineral cheek color onto the tops of the cheekbones for a healthy, radiant look.
6.Line lips with Medium N**e lip liner or the shade that works best for your skin tone. Apply Bashful You gel semi-matte lipstick.
7.Want to go bolder? Apply Midnight Star mineral eye color to the upper lashlines, concentrating on the inner and outer thirds of the eyes. This application makes the eyes look larger by creating the illusion of depth. Also apply to the lower lashlines. Blend Coal mineral eye color on top of Midnight Star until you achieve the desired level of intensity.
