After we had to put down Mason, I knew I wanted another dachshund. Having Mason go so soon was completely unexpected and I questioned his history and how old he really was.

That led me to wanting a dachshund puppy so that I could know it’s full history. But puppies are expensive, so Jeremy told me that if we were to get one and all the expenses that come with it, it would have to be through Senegence earnings. I wanted one this summer, so that meant I had about two months to save up. And summer is the slowest time of the year. 😅

I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to not only make extra cash to buy the things that we can’t normally afford, but to also love doing what I do that it doesn’t feel like I’m doing another job.
