Some left residue, some gave texture, but didn’t absorb the oil and some just made my hair more oily. Hi! 👋🏻 I have some new followers, so I thought I’d introduce myself and in the process hopefully get to know you!

⭐️My name is Amanda and I was born in California. I grew up in gorgeous, but insanely expensive, Northern California and came to Texas in 2002 via a few years in Seattle.
⭐️I’m a mom, I have 4 kiddos aged 15-19 and I have one sweet little grandbaby who was born in October 2021!
⭐️ I work a whole lot, but in my free time…I like to brunch, hike, do diy projects, spend as much time with my teenagers as possible (which isn’t much) and RELAX. I believe that self care is SUPER important, especially when you have other people who depend on you!
⭐️ I’m a really good listener, which is fitting for this job and I pride myself on keeping ALL the secrets! 🤫
⭐️ I specialize in lived in highlights and balayage and bob haircuts. That being said, I have almost 8 years behind the chair, so I’ve done everything from blondes to the darkest hair possible and everything in between!
⭐️ I try my best to do THOROUGH consultations and really listen to what you guys want, so we are both on the same page.
⭐️ I also believe in having realistic expectations, so I will always be straight with you about what we can and cannot do with your hair!!

Happy 2022 everyone! While I didn’t get as many pics as I wanted, I got to do a different kind of wedding on NYE…20’s inspired! So fun!! My first attempt at Hollywood waves and I think adding the headpieces in was the icing on the cake! 👌🏻😘 Thanks for bringing me in!

Been doing this one’s hair since she was about 7 and she’s 13 now!! Time sure does fly! She wanted highlights, but not too blonde and we needed it to look natural…mission accomplished!! 👊🏻💥I gave her a partial balayage and this sassy one length lob!!!

This morning while I was taking one of my kiddos to school, we saw this gorgeous rainbow!! First one I’ve seen in AWHILE!! Rainbows symbolize hope, which is something we need a whole lot of right now!!!

S**t is rough in this world, but if we can remember to give everyone just a little bit of grace, love and understanding, maybe we can get to a better place!! This is my hope for us!!

Last first day for Abby and Gabe and first day of high school for Elvis!! I cannot believe how fast time has gone by. Seems like just yesterday I was driving a huge minivan and dropping them all at the same school. 😩 You guys are gonna kill it this year!! ♥️

All over retouch for one of my besties!

Did you know, that you don’t always need to do a full color/highlight at your 6 week appointment?? 😳 I usually do a full retouch every other visit, to every 2 visits (depending on how quickly your hair grows)! I think it has been a total of 12 weeks since we refreshed and pulled this gorgeous copper mahogany color all the way through! ♥️ Sometimes for blondes, all it takes is a quick toner/gloss to pump up the vibrancy in your color!!
