✨I’ve been a professional makeup artist since 2008 when I was hired in a salon in Fort Worth. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
✨Before that, I was doing makeup for student films at TCU while I received my degree in Radio Tv Film. I took a stage makeup class while in school and fell in love with the artistry.⁣⁣⁣⁣
✨My husband and I just celebrated 10 years together which is still just absolutely wild to even say. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
✨I have 2 cairn terriers who are my whole dang world — their shenanigans make sure life is never dull. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
✨I consider myself a “collector” of tattoos and each one on my body has a story, milestone, or meaning attached. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
✨My youngest pup Kasher was named after singer/songwriter Tim Kasher of the bands Cursive and The Good Life. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
✨I don’t like macaroni and cheese and I’ve given it *multiple* tries in my lifetime. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
✨True crime podcasts, documentaries and tv shows are my favorite. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
✨I’m pretty sure plants saved my life in 2020 and I now have way too many (last count was 58 indoor plants 😎😬)⁣⁣⁣

Chelsea’s was of the most memorable weddings I have ever done! Not only was her entire bridal party *SO* fun and not to mention gorgeous, I ended up getting engaged later that evening so the whole day was just magic for me.⁣
⁣
Her stunning photos courtesy are some of my most favorite images in my thirteen year career — and that’s saying a LOT! ⁣This bridal photo is the definition of swoon-worthy and timeless.

I’m asked fairly regularly what “kind” of makeup sessions I enjoy doing the most. ⁣
⁣
Frankly, I do makeup for just about any occasion: weddings, high school seniors, debutante events, maternity and newborn sessions, black tie charity balls, family photos, etc. and there isn’t anything that I *don’t* enjoy doing — I really love it all. ⁣
⁣
However, I think my favorite types of sessions lately have been makeup for branding or headshots for female entrepreneurs. During this type of appointment, the key is finding the perfect balance of enhancing the client so they look camera-ready and also the best version of themselves. ⁣
⁣
I’d love nothing more than to fill my days with more sessions like these, where I get to connect with other local female business owners and help them feel polished and confident.⁣
