I’m coming back babyyyyy!

Governor Abbot has approved us to come back to work on FRIDAY!! As exciting as this news is there are some new changes that are going to be in place that all my guests need to be aware of.

• There will be no waiting available in the salon, we ask that you wait in your vehicle until your appointment time. I’ll text/call you to let you know I’m ready for you!

•We are all REQUIRED to wear masks at all times, I’m currently on the hunt for disposable ones but please be prepared. I will not be allowed to see you if you’re not wearing one.

•Online booking is currently closed, I know we all want to get in ASAP but given the current restraints I want to be able to keep a closer eye on my books to make sure I’m leaving enough room in between clients. Of course you can reach out to me directly or you can call the salon to set up our next visit!

•As a salon we are asking that you come to your appointment alone, again we don’t have waiting space available so we can only allow people in at their scheduled appointment time.

Thank you guys SOOOOO much for being so patient during this craziness. I have been blown away by the kindness and support I have received and I CANNOT WAIT to get back behind the chair! Any other changes I’ll be sure to update! See you soon! 🖤

Well the time has come, Tarrant County has decided that I’m non-essential. 🤣

I have said “this is insane” more in the past week than I ever have in my life. Honestly even typing this I’m at a true loss for words but we got to do what we got to do. As of now, (keep in mind, this seems to change minute by minute) our shut down is extended out until April 6.
I’ve reached out to a lot of you already, but with this new information I’ll be contacting anyone who is on my books for the next 2 weeks and we will work together to get you rescheduled.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me during this crazy time, I am forever grateful that not only do I get to do what I love for a living, but I get to work on some of the most amazing people. 🖤

One year down... A year ago today I was moving into my little window room and I had NO idea what I was getting myself into. I was extremely intimidated but I believe in Fate and I knew this was right where I was supposed to be. ✨✨✨ I spent the first seven years of my career chasing after that industry standard of becoming the hairdresser that is “surviving on coffee and dry shampoo.” I thought success was measured in quantity and unfortunately for me, all that brought was an impending burnout.
So when branching out independently I knew I needed to switch focus and do the exact opposite, slow down. Not the words you hear from a lot of self employed people, especially one who has tiny humans dependent on her success. But again, fate.
I knew I wanted to give my best to my to everyone who sat in my chair, so I redesigned my schedule so that I can now give each of my clients the time and attention they deserve. Also, I continued to focus on fine tuning my craft by attending countless classes by some of the best educators around.
With the help of Novak’s, my family and my amazing clients, I can proudly say that I’ve made my -year one- dreams come true. Now, let’s pop some champagne and start planning for year TWO because my journey is just beginning! 🖤
