✨ Hi, I wanted to introduce myself and share my mission. My name is Alden, and I am co-owner + manager at Alcove Hair Studios!

Before stepping into this industry full-time 5 years ago, I spent 12 years as a teacher and I’m also a proud mom of two. I started my salon journey during Covid as a booth renter + manager and within 2 years was able to lease my own space. It can be done—and I’m passionate about helping other stylists brave that transition too.

At Alcove, we’ve created beautiful, affordable spaces designed to support stylists during this challenging time in the industry. We are a small, niche boutique salon where stylists and clients can come enjoy a private space that’s all their own. Our mission is simple: to provide a safe, warm, and successful place for stylists to thrive as their own boss. 💇‍♀️✨

As co-owner of Alcove, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m a former educator and mom of two who took a leap five years ago to follow my passion for the beauty industry.

Helping others feel confident and empowered has always been at the heart of what I do—whether it was in the classroom with students or now with my clients. I love meeting new people, listening to good music, and being outdoors. I am always looking for opportunities to grow and learn both personally and professionally.
