But after reflecting on the future of my business and the kind of space I want to create, I realized it was time for something new — one that’s more aligned with the direction I’m growing in.

I love when I get asked to do creative cuts that are outside of the usual requests. This cut has a bit of everything; short blunt baby bangs, cheekbone facial framing, short feathery disconnected crown layers, and disconnected length from the occipital bone down so that they can braid it without all the little layered pieces sticking out. 🧚

This is a creative mullet I have Brey in 2023! We had fun planning this cut out together and I think the ex*****on turned out pretty sick. One of my fav cuts ever for sure.

A haircut I did last year but never posted. The fear of being seen/judged is so real.

This is what I would call a “starter shag”. This is usually the first shaggy cut I do on someone who’s never had a lot of layers or texture in their hair before. This is the one that gets you hooked and makes you want to go shorter with your layers and bangs when you come back. The one that introduces you to the beauty of air drying, & face framing, & glows up your ponytail game. The shape is simple, yet classic with a bit of an edge. It works well on so many different textures. Each little flip, wave, or curl gives it that perfect extra touch of personality. Definitely one of my favorite cuts to do. 🫶🏻🖤

✨ Lately ✨

The chaos of the world right now is all consuming. It is haunting. Every way we turn and then there is more and more. January was weird, long, and a roller coaster of wtf. Constantly torn between wanting to know what’s going on and wanting to hide in blissful ignorance. In all the chaos don’t forget to live your life. Here’s a reminder to put the phone down. Spend time with your loved ones, read books, take walks, eat well & keep doing your little hobbies even if it seems insignificant while the world is going crazy. It’s the little things that will keep you sane and grounded. I started my spring cleaning early… at least I can keep the chaos contained in my own space. I’ve been prioritizing rest as my body needs the extra down time lately. The balancing act between resting and not isolating myself can be a bit challenging some days. Community is important. We are all in this life together. Take care of yourself and take care of your people too. 🫶🏻💕🖤
