I wasn’t interested in simply finding another way to attach extension hair. I wanted to create an experience that reflected everything I’ve spent more than 25 years teaching:

So I began building the method with intention.

Fairy Knots™ uses Premium Feather Crochet Human Hair in a way it was not traditionally designed to be worn—transforming it from a braided crochet option into a seamless, braid-free luxury extension experience.

No braided foundation.
No adhesive bonds.
No heat used for attachment.
No bulky connection at the root.

Just lightweight, reusable human hair installed through my signature soft-tension approach to create natural movement, fullness, and flexibility.

As a healthy hair specialist, I wasn’t searching for another extension method.

As I looked at different extension techniques, I kept asking myself…

People are surprised when I tell them this…

I stopped offering extensions for almost eight years.

Not because I didn’t love them.

I actually did.

At the time, I was building a salon team, and my priority was creating a strong foundation. I focused on healthy hair, customer service, consultation skills, shampoo techniques, and the fundamentals that every stylist could carry with them throughout their career.

Healthy hair has always been my salon’s number one goal.

As the years passed, life changed.

My team changed.

My business changed.

And after my husband’s medical emergency, my perspective changed too.

As I celebrate 26 years in this industry, I found myself asking a different question:

If I was going to bring extensions back… what would that look like?

I knew one thing for sure.

I couldn’t offer an extension service that didn’t align with everything I’ve spent my career teaching.

After helping women restore the health of their natural hair for more than two decades, I couldn’t reintroduce extensions unless they respected the integrity of the hair underneath.

That question became an obsession.

And that obsession became Fairy Knots™.

Not because I wanted another extension method.

But because I wanted a healthier one.

Because confidence should never come at the expense of healthy hair.
