Fashion colors are beautiful and bold, but tend to have a shorter life span than other colors. This is due to vivids mainly coming from semi-permanent dyes.

Semi permanent dyes just sit on top of the hair rather than in the hair like a permanent dye would.

Best ways to help maintain your bright vivids?

1. Color-Safe shampoos! This helps prolong your color during the washing process.
2. Cold Water! I love a hot shower as much as the next person, however, your vivids don’t. Hot water opens the hair cuticle which makes the color on top strip out even faster.
3. Heat protectant! High temperatures can remove color from hair. Use heat protectant and a lower temperature when heat styling vivids.
4. Wash less frequently! Become best friends with a dry shampoo.

Combining all these tips can help make your fashion color stay bright and bold💖
