Exposure The Next Generation

It is with a full heart, both heavy and grateful that I share I will be selling Exposure: The Next Generation. I will continue working behind the chair, just under new and wonderful ownership.

During the transition, the salon will be closed for the month of May. I’m incredibly thankful to Cheryl at Alyssa Blake Hair Lounge in Framingham (5 Edgell Rd., Unit 4) for opening her doors to me during this time. For the month of May, I will be working out of Alyssa Blake. In June, I will return to 847 Edgell Rd. I will be reaching out to all clients with May appointments to coordinate details.

Exposure has been my home for as long as I can remember. It has always been more than just a salon it’s been a place of connection, community, and love. When I took over for my mom, Debbie, and added “The Next Generation,” it meant carrying on her legacy, something I have never taken lightly.

Every person who has walked through those doors whether to work or to be serviced has been treated like family. That’s something my mother taught me, and it’s something I will continue to carry with me until the day I put my scissors down.

Life has a way of guiding you when you’re willing to listen. Right now, it’s telling me it’s time to step away from ownership.

My true passion has always been helping people feel beautiful, seen, and cared for. I’m so grateful I get to continue doing what I love with each and every person who sits in my chair.

To my clients: you’ve been with me through so many moments in life: the ups, the downs, and everything in between. I can’t thank you enough for your trust, your loyalty, and your support. I look forward to continuing our journeys together.

Our dear friend Gwendolyn Perry’s family and friends along with so many others have lost everything. The devastation in beautiful Jamaica is heartbreaking and we can help.
Exposure The Next Generation, Finally Gwen’s, and I Believe Academy have organized a collection. We will be gathering items, clothing, non perishables, first aid, and everything else needed to ship directly into the hands of the families in desperate need. We will have a drop off at Exposure The Next Generation 847 Edgell rd. Unit 10 Framingham Ma 01701 where things can be brought durning our working hours (or can be arranged on other days) for Gwen to ship into the hands of those in need.
All things are needed but below is a list of things that are needed first and foremost.

Most Needed Items:
* Non-perishable food (canned goods, dry goods, baby formula)
* Hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, sanitary products)
* First aid supplies
* Bedding & towels
* Flashlights, batteries
* Children's supplies (diapers, wipes, clothes, school supplies)
* New and gently used clothing for all ages

Cj is back in the hospital due to an infection and have been here for about a week now. There’s been a lot of antibiotics and hospital time, and when they are finally discharged, we’ll be heading home with a PICC line and six weeks of home antibiotics.

If there’s any way you can help the family would appreciate it greatly. No one expected this to happen. Any less stress in the situation will make things easier for Laurie and her family!
