Following multiple life events (some good, some not), it’s necessary I move in a different direction. Things that significantly effect my skin. (Keep in mind my skin is reactive. So some of these things may not have an affect on you).

1) Doggie: Not sure if it’s the dander or just dirtiness that gets in her hair but this dog comes NOWHERE near my pillow and I can’t kiss her(sad I know).

2) Sleep: If I get less than 7 hours per night, my skin will show it in more ways than one.

3) Laundry detergent: Out of dozens of detergents, there are only two that don’t give me a major reaction/breakout.

4) Specifically Sugar(this includes alcohol) and processed carbs. Moderation is key here.

5) Switching up my skincare too much: Find a routine that works, and stick with it. You can find my routine linked in my bio.

Trying to decide if PRP is worth it? Incorporating PRP(platelet rich plasma) with Microneedling can be beneficial as it helps reduce erythema. This photo is the same patient immediately after her MicroNeedle treatments. You can see in the photo where PRP was used, her erythema is already beginning to resolve.

My take on PRP: If the patient is concerned with downtime and wants expedited healing, PRP is worth it.
