TEN years ago today I graduated from cosmetology school! I cannot believe that I’ve been doing hair for a decade.
The first picture is me with my manikin after I did my first haircut on her. The second picture is the first time I did highlights. I had to walk away in the middle of foiling because it was hard and I got really frustrated. I hated doing highlights in school and now they’re my favorite thing to do. Funny how that works out!
The first couple of years of doing hair were full of challenges, growth, education, and learning hard lessons. There were many times when I wanted to give up doing hair and I’m so happy I didn’t! This has been the best career and I love my job and my guests so much. Thank you to everyone who has sat in my chair and I’m excited to see what the next ten years bring! 🥰

Happy New Year, friends! 2025 was the year I became a mother 💙

I just want to take a moment and say thank you for being here with me through this incredible life changing event. I appreciate all of the support, parenting advice, prayers and love shown for baby Max and me.

I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings to Lawton Hair Co and I’m so excited to see you in the new year!

Born on his due date, October 16th at 10:11am.
We couldn’t be more in love with our little guy and have been soaking up all of the newborn goodness 💙

To my beloved guests, I am officially on maternity leave! I can’t believe our son is almost here, he could really come any day at this point. Wes and I are incredibly grateful for your generosity and how you’ve prayed for us and supported us throughout our journey to get here. Being your hairstylist means so much more than just doing your hair. It’s being there for you, hearing your stories, being a safe place for you to relax, celebrating your wins, building friendships, and making you feel your best self. Thank you for allowing me to be your stylist and trusting me with all of this. Now I get to share this next chapter with all of you! I will miss seeing you in my chair for the next two months, but am so thankful for this time to get to spend with my little family. I will keep you all posted and will share pictures once our little guy is here 💙

Thank you again for everything and I will see you guys in the salon in December!
