Do you use Skin Soft bath oil. Here are some uses for it:

Flea Repellant: Avon's SSS Bath oil, 1-1/2 oz per gallon of water; used as a sponge-on dip (or as a spritz) has been tested & proven to have significant, but not complete, flea-repellant active for a 6 day period. It should help those dry coats too. (As recommended in "Outdoor Life" and "Field & Stream"), mix 5 parts water, 1 part SSS and mist on animals. Brushing it in makes their coats gleam and keeps insects off. Use it about twice a month-just spray it on them.

Relieve itching from insect bites - Applying it over the affected areas alleviates itching.

Remove adhesives and gum left from price tags, labels from glass, metals & most plastics. Apply SSS and wipe clean.

Clean grease, ink, paint and oil from skin. Rub it into the skin and wash with clean water.

Removes candle wax - Rub a dollop of SSS to remove candle wax from furniture, carpeting, and clothing.

Remove ring around the collar - it removes the dirt rings in collars when rubbed into the fabric.

Cats: A natural way to help Cats with flea problems and flea allergies: rub SSS lotion into the skin. Fleas don't like it. Spread the word! SSS is Safe For Fur Licking--The SSS plus is safe as long as it is the one without the sunscreen. (Don't overuse the SSS just use lotion, and rub it into the skin, not more than every few days.

Picaridin is recommended by the World Health Organization for warding off disease-carrying mosquitoes. It is not known to irritate eyes and skin. Unlike IR3535 or DEET, picaridin does not evaporate from the skin quickly. That is why it can protect you from insect bites for long periods.
