My bride today was so beautiful. & Her hair was a DREAM to style! Why? 🤔
It’s not because she had so much to work with, though that doesn’t hurt😉 (but you can always add extensions if you don’t have naturally super thick, long hair like her’s). It’s because she came prepped and ready!
Clean, dry hair is my ideal starting point when I do any style. If you’re going for a polished style, like these ever popular & glamorous Hollywood waves, I find that it’s best if you wash your hair and blow it out smooth-ish the evening before! Don’t flat iron it, we’re not going for pin straight. Using a blow dryer & a brush will do the trick to get your hair ready for me on your event date🥳

Boho and pearls. I curled my ponytail extension and it didn’t melt! 🙌🏼 I wanted to add some color, length, & thickness to my brunette half up style and this worked like a charm.

With or without sparkle? I couldn’t decide😬
I used the 25” Straight Wrap Around Ponytail extension from in this style! 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥???🔬 I tried a new (to me) way of incorporating a ponytail extension into a romantic look. I didn’t need to curl it for this particular style but the extension piece is made of synthetic hair that can be straightened or curled. WHAT?! I’m going to test that out this week🕵🏻 so if you have any tips that will help keep me from melting this new ponytail, list them in the comments below⬇️ ASAP! Please and thank you.

Hi! 🙋🏻♀️ Remember me? My IG has taken a 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 pause but I’m dipping my toe back in when I can.
I’ve been getting unfinished bun/chignon requests & I love it (Nashville is hot + humid)! So, you’ll probably be seeing a few more versions of these imperfect beauties because I FINALLY started working again!!! 🤗 -With a mask on, sometimes in combination with a faceshield because... uhm, I like to look like an extra hot mess, of course😷👩🏻🏭.
I used the 1” curling iron by because her hair was very straight & needed just a loose curl/bend. I also won the Blowout Kit from ‘s giveaway & tried out the Texture Spray & the Dry Oil Spray.
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭: The texture spray leaves a really nice buildable grip to the hair. The Dry Oil is so light, I LOVED this one! I used it to keep the style looking “finished” because there’s a big difference between a pretty, messy look and just a mess, right?!
