Is Hydra Haus kid-friendly?
Yes. We love your kids.

Can I bring my child to my appointment?
No. During scheduled services, Hydra Haus is an 18+ women-only space.

Will you still cut my daughter’s hair?
Absolutely. She is welcome as the client with her own appointment.

Can my man hang out while I’m getting my hair done?
No. If anyone’s man is going to ruin my breathing air, it’s going to be mine. Leave him in the car or tie him up out front, we will allow you to get him water.

Why do you have this policy?
A few important reasons.

• We are not a chemical-free environment. Even low-tox products, hot tools, and wellness equipment can be unsafe for children.
• We are a beauty and wellness studio, not just a hair salon. Clients receive IV hydration, migraine therapy, and other services, including immune-compromised guests and those undergoing medical treatments.
• Our environment is intentionally calm and low-stimulation. This protects wellness clients and the experience as a whole.
• Many services involve physical touch and sensory work. These services are adult women only. Children should only receive touch-based or sensory services in appropriate medical or clinical settings. Period.

But my child is well-behaved.
We believe you. The policy still applies.

Can they stop by to say hi?
Yes, please do. We love seeing them, just not during active appointments.

As we move into 2026, Hydra Haus will continue expanding wellness services. While we adore your little ones, this space is intentionally designed for adult care, safety, and healing.

At its core, the IonCleanse is a warm water foot bath that uses ionization to support relaxation and circulation. Nothing scary. Nothing dramatic. At Hydra Haus I have shifted to Matrix acidic technologies because they respect the biology of the hair fiber. Traditional alkaline color swells the cuticle and disrupts the lipid layer. Acidic formulas keep the cuticle compact which protects strength, shine, and long term integrity.

Super Sync is an acidic, no ammonia demi. It refreshes tone and adds gloss without structural stress.
Tonal Control uses an acidic gel base to neutralize warmth while maintaining a smooth, closed cuticle for better shine and longevity.
