Salon 16

Kassidi, has been extremely blessed to be a part of the Salon 16 family for her entire beauty industry career! She is a graduate of Vangaurd College of Cosmetology, a Paul Mitchell Partner School and is very passionate about anything and everything beauty. She believes you can get anywhere in life with a little hairspray and lipstick! She loves everything from highlights and colors, to makeup applications and spray tans. She specializes in wedding hair and makeup and is up to travel anywhere to provide for clients. When she is not behind the chair you can catch her at Saints football games cheering as a Saintsation! And when she’s not running the roads, you can find her doing anything outdoors from hunting to fishing with her boyfriend,Jonathan! Kass, loves the salon and her clients dearly and is so very thankful for God blessing her as much as he has!

Rayne Tetreau has been with Salon 16 for 3 years now and in the industry for 20. She graduated from John Jay in Slidell and has worked in Washington Parish since then. Rayne is skilled in all areas of services but at Salon 16 she offers one service in particular that sets her apart. If you have problematic hair in any way, you will most definitely want to schedule a consultation with her to learn more about the benefits of a Brazilian Blowout.
Rayne is married with 2 beautiful children and a beloved daughter-in-law. Although her extreme talent in this industry is such a value to the Salon, it’s her love for Christ and others that makes her the biggest blessing!!

Meet Jace Strahan... she and her husband have been living in our area for almost a year now. She was educated at Aveda Institute and has been doing hair for nearly 14 years! She offers color, highlights, haircuts, and special occasion hair. Jace has had years of behind the chair experience along with numerous hours of advanced training for those clients who love to be “blonde”. She and her husband, Josh, have 3 beautiful kids that keep her on her toes when she’s not busy doing hair. She’s excited and motivated to rebuild her clientele here in Franklinton.

Meet our newest stylist, Hunter. Though he is new to us, he is no “newbee” to our industry. Hunter has been in the beauty industry for 6 years. Hunter is married to his wife, Bailee, who he shares a beautiful daughter with named Addison. Graduating from Aveda, he did not let his education end there. Hunter has trained underneath barbers and stylist- grasping hold of every technique possible to learn and continues to educate himself today. Hunter has also been trained in make-up by Urban Decay, Benefit Cosmetics, BareMinerals, Lancôme, IT Cosmetics, Too Faced, Tarte, Becca and many other reputable brands. He has had the joy of serving the New Orleans Fashion Week doing hair and make up for their runway. He has also had the opportunity to work alongside the Founder of It Cosmetics, Jamie Kern, and the President of L’Oreal in a day full of make up beautification. Working in Mandeville for the past few years gave Him the experience he desired but now he is so grateful to be back serving his home town. Hunter is always taking appointments for Cuts, colors, highlights, ombré’s, balayage, make up and waxing. Hunter is experienced with both men and women’s hair and would love the opportunity to serve you!

We thought we would do something fun this week by doin a “Meet The Stylist” post each day. So to kick it off, we are going to start with the Salon as a whole.

Salon 16 has been in operation for almost four years now. When it first opened, I worked by myself and as the Lord has seen fit the business has continued to grow. We are a full service salon that offers color, highlights, cut and styles, waxing, makeup and spray tans. We pride ourselves on what we do and are so grateful for each and every client who comes through our doors!

As the salon continues to grow I wanted to offer everyone a chance to get to know each of the stylist a little better. Stay tuned this week for some up close and personal tid bits of information from all of us individually.
