It’s never that serious guys 💅🏽 I could care less! A leg is a leg is a leg is a leg.. and same goes for the rest of your body parts 👣 Especially with summertime here, please stop apologizing for your body 🥺🙏🏻💛

Shoutout for the reel idea!

Autonomy is the most important thing to me as a Women’s Health practitioner, your choice about your care is what matters the most! No matter what you have going on, informed options and choices are the best bet. There isn’t one right way to be a mother, a parent, to give birth, to take care of your baby. So don’t listen to the haters out there! You grew this human! No matter how they come out, how you feed them, who watches them, if you go back to work etc YOU do what’s best for YOU and your family ✨

Can you imagine being so judgmental and entitled to have an opinion on what another person does or has to do to bring their baby into this world safely? 🤔 Couldn’t be me! 🫰

This quote is by the writer of the bestselling book ‘Birth Without Fear’ and it’s a great read I highly recommend for anyone in any stage of their parenthood journey.

And I’m currently part of that 34% 😭 Restless Leg Syndrome, RLS, usually occurs later in pregnancy and can be due to quite a few things. Increased blood volume, hormonal changes and Iron or Folate deficiencies are some of the most common triggers.

Massage can help, and most of the ways it does so can also be performed at home. Movement, massage, topical magnesium and heat are some of my top favorite ways to get relief right now!

Are you dealing with RLS too? If so, I can definitely be of assistance! Please message me with any questions or concerns, and book at the link in my bio 💆🏽‍♀️✨

Sorry I haven’t been as active here as I’d like to be 😂 25 weeks tomorrow and it’s becoming really real 😮‍💨 I’m planning on making some fun ‘pregnant practitioner’ content over the next few months and sharing about what’s working for me!🤰🏻

Some of you already know (because I can’t shut up to save my life!) but we’re expecting! 🤰🏻✨ Edward has a new sibling arriving in August of this year and we can’t be more excited! However, this does mean some changes for me and my practice. Find these changes listed below:

✨The only ‘new’ clients I’ll be accepting moving forward are those who are booking for my Women’s Health modalities: fertility, prenatal and postnatal. If you already have an appointment with me, you’re fine! I’ll be moving to an appointment ‘request’ system to manage this change. This means any appointment you book online yourself isn’t automatically accepted, I have to go through and manually accept your appointments. (If you have a gift card you’re free to book! Just make a note in the appointment request)

✨At the beginning of April, I’ll be pausing gift card sales and package sales. So if you have a gift to give or want to stock up on packages, now is the time to do so!

✨My hours are subject to change. I’ve added in a few blocks for myself here and there already to rest between sessions, but haven’t made any big changes yet.

✨Maternity leave starts August 10th, with a projected 10-12 week total leave putting my return to work around late October or early November. When returning to work, it will be slow and part-time at first as we work out our new schedules. I will still operate on the appointment ‘requests’ systems.

✨Who to see if you aren’t booking a Women’s Health appointment/while I’m on leave: .llc .space all of these AMAZING practitioners are my suite-mates, found in the same building you already see me at! They all offer different schedules and services and I can’t recommend them enough!

I’m going to send out an email with all this info ASAP, as well as make another post to pin on my page. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns in the meantime. Thank you so much for your support, as I’m navigating running a business and growing my family all at once. I’m so grateful to each and every one of you!💕✨

Yes it absolutely can! Nothing is a for sure ‘cure all’ when it comes to nausea/morning sickness in the first trimester, though. Some ways massage can help are:

✨Stimulating Acupressure points: -PC6 (Pericardium 6): Located about three fingerbreadths above the wrist crease, this point is known for alleviating nausea.
-SP4 (Spleen 4): Found just below the base of the big toe, applying pressure here can also help soothe digestive issues.
✨Increased circulation: enhances blood flow, possibly reducing nausea and improving nutrient delivery.
✨Endorphin release: Triggers the release of endorphins to promote relaxation and ease discomfort.
✨Reduction of stress hormones: lowers cortisol levels, calming body and mind.
✨Aromatherapy: in my prenatal aromatherapy blend, I use ginger and peppermint which have both been shown to help alleviate nausea.
✨Topical Magnesium: magnesium plays a crucial role in neuromuscular function and can help regulate neurotransmitters associated with nausea and discomfort.

If you’re dealing with nausea during your pregnancy, definitely give massage a try! The link to book is in my bio ✨ Please reach out with any questions you may have about pregnancy and massage🤰🏻💆🏽‍♀️ ✨

I’ve lost 8 followers since I posted F**K ICE on my story on Wednesday. I also gained a few followers, got over 30 ‘likes’ and ‘loves’ on that story, and received almost 20 individual messages of appreciation and encouragement for speaking out. I think I made the right call following my conscious, speaking my truth and sticking to my own code of ethics and morality.

As I’ve stated before: Motherhood is radical and political! Pregnancy and labor is radical and political! I will always speak my mind and stand for what is right and just. Not just for myself but for my children, my clients and my business.

Thank you for being here. And a shoutout to my small business neighbors in solidarity with the blackout today: and any others I may have missed ❤️✨

5 things I want to give more attention to in the new year:

1. Using my Aromatherapy skills and ingredients! 🧪
2. Retail, I would love to send you all home with additional ways to practice self care at home. 🛍️
3. I love sharing with you all, I love creating for you all, I love interacting with my community! You’ll be seeing more of me here!🤳
4. A FULL rebrand! I had been working with off and on since I started my practice and I’m making a promise to you (and myself!) that a full-face new brand and website is coming SOON!
