Thomas Scott Salon and Spa opened its doors January of 1984 and continues to serve the beauty and health needs of the community. The owner Mary Jane Tabler is proud of her Women Owned Family Business, with three generations of Tabler women actively working in the salon. The salon is consistently listed in the Best of Frederick ratings and has received both regional and national recognition.
From a very early age, Mary Jane knew she always wanted to be in the beauty business. As a young girl, she started cutting her sister’s hair to learn the trade. Her love of hair and beauty continued to expand as she and her teams grew Thomas Scott Salon into the thriving business it is today. “I love the way a visit to the salon makes our guests feel!!
