Different, not less

Well we had another evaluation yesterday. Not sure what to think about it yet as they told me it would be a 2-3 hour appointment but they were done in less than an hour. 🤷‍♀️
We won’t get results until the 28th. Still playing the hurry up and wait game but I’m hopeful that eventually we will get what we need! ❤️ keep praying for us!!

Please keep us in your prayers as next week we have 3 appointments. (St Louis, ironton, and Farmington) He gets anxiety so bad and it makes everything so much harder especially when they are out of town! We are currently battling more anger/anxiety issues the last week and now these appointments will add to it! 😔

We need prayers as we face another hurdle.. took him to the dentist and they said when they did the X-rays there’s a black area above where they did the root canal awhile back. They are going to send him to a specialist in St. Louis.
The anxiety from going this morning and now from being told he would have to go to another doctor in St Louis has set him into overdrive. He expresses all moods (like happy,sad, scared etc) with anger. He’s very on edge now and we need him to be filled with peace and not stress over this!

So we have great news! We finally have an October appointment for another evaluation. It will still take time to get any services but we are getting one step closer!!

Also please keep him in your prayers as he has an abscess and the dentist triggers a lot of anxiety. We go in the morning to see what they can do for it!

We met with a new counselor yesterday and I really feel confident with her! She gave me a lot of information on some things we have been dealing with for years and had no idea! We are still waiting to hear back from one psychologist/autism center on the date of appointment. And we are reaching out to 3 others today to get appointments.

We are pushing forward the best we can! He doesn’t like the fact that we will be traveling out of town for counseling every week as it causes a lot of anxiety!

We are trying to finish up the camper this week to get some family members out here to help with him.

We will be having one more fundraiser and I think we will be on our way to an easier journey! The future may be uncertain but the one thing that is certain is his momma will make sure he is given any and all chance to succeed!!

I appreciate all of you and will try to update everything on here! So many have been so kind with your messages and information! I appreciate each and every one!! There’s been some very dark scary moments this year but we have faith God will see us thru!! ❤️

We are not far off from meeting our fundraiser goal! We still have a few things needed for safety as well as hooking up electric and winterizing our camper as we have someone going to stay in it to help with him until we can get the ”official” diagnosis and get moving with services they will provide.

Our new set goal is roughly $2000.

All money raised will be able to help us with certain items such as locking cabinets, locks, setting up camper to have someone here so I can return to work, as well as things that he destroyed that he needs when he was placed on wrong medication this summer and struggled so bad.

We are trying to keep it down to stuff we can do more from home as it’s too hard to do a fundraiser and have him there as his social anxiety is thru the roof!
