I wanted to give everyone a little update since so many of you have been checking in on me.

I’m doing so much better than I was when I made my last post. The medication I’m taking has really helped calm the nerve pain and reduce the flare-ups, and I’m incredibly thankful for that.

I still haven’t had my appointment with the neurologist. (that’s coming up in a couple of weeks) I’m hoping that visit will help us figure out what’s causing all of this and what the next steps will be.

Thank you all so much for your prayers, kind messages, and patience while I’ve been navigating this. It has truly meant more than you know. I’m grateful to be feeling more like myself again.

✨ Little Life Update ✨

I wanted to share a personal update with all of you.

Recently, I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a condition that causes severe nerve pain in my face. For me, any movement on the right side of my face can trigger intense, indescribable pain. As you can imagine, that can make working behind the chair a bit more challenging.

I want to sincerely thank those of you I saw this week for your patience, understanding, kind words, and especially your prayers. They have meant more than you know. ❤️

Many of you may notice that I’m talking less than usual or that I can’t always smile the way I normally would. Please know it’s not personal—I’m simply doing my best to manage the pain while continuing to serve my clients.

As for the salon, I am still working and taking things one day at a time. However, I do have more doctor appointments ahead, so my availability and schedule will be more limited for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for your continued support, grace, and understanding during this season. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

I wanted to share a small update with you all 💛

As costs have shifted a bit, I’ll be making a slight adjustment to my haircut pricing starting May 1:

✂️ Haircuts: $24
✂️ Senior Haircuts: $22
✂️ Kids: $20

I’ve done my best to keep this as reasonable as possible while continuing to give you the same care and experience you’re used to.

I’m so grateful for this community and each of you who continue to support my chair—it never goes unnoticed.

I just want to take a minute to say thank you to my amazing clients.

You’re not just appointments on my schedule. You’re conversations, laughs, life updates, prayers, tears, celebrations, and trust. You sit in my chair and let me be part of your stories — and that is something I never take lightly.

Thank you for trusting me with your hair (and sometimes your whole life while we’re at it 😄).

This job is about more than color and cuts for me. It’s connection. It’s serving people. It’s making someone walk out feeling a little more confident than when they walked in.

Surgery Update:

Everything went well I will be back in the salon in October.

Quick update! Today is surgery day I will be out of the salon for a while. I will keep you posted on my expected return date. The booking website will keep updated as I know.

Heads up, everyone! 🚨
I'm heading in for knee surgery on Sept 11th. Get scheduled before then to avoid any delays. Recovery time is unknown at this time. I'll keep you updated on my recovery!
