😔Over the last few days, I’ve been sending messages to hundreds of clients to reschedule appointments.

+ honestly… it feels like I’m tearing down everything I’ve worked so hard to build.

For many years, my focus has always been making sure my clients are taken care of …getting everyone booked, keeping schedules on track, making sure people can get in when they need to. That’s just who I am.

So having to suddenly condense my schedule + step back because of cancer feels like it goes against everything in me.

😮‍💨There’s a fear that comes with it too.
What if people move on?
What if it becomes too hard to get back in?
What if this changes everything I’ve built?

I know logically that people won’t forget me overnight. I know this season is temporary. But emotionally, it’s still incredibly overwhelming because this business is not “just a job” to me. It’s something I’ve poured my heart, my energy, + years of my life into.

🫶🏼To every client who has shown patience, kindness, flexibility, + support through this transition, thank you. More than you know.

+ while my schedule is limited right now, I’m also incredibly grateful to have such talented providers inside Ashley Jackson Beauty + Salon helping bridge the gap + continue taking care of all of you in the meantime.

I may have to slow down for a little while… but this isn’t the end of what I’ve built. 🤍

👉🏻Isn’t that going to make the hair come back darker and thicker?

The answer:
✨NO✨

We’ve been dermaplaning once a month since January. This is a photo of our April facial before and after 🧖🏼‍♀️

Dermaplaning does not cause a change in the growth of vellus hair on your face.

Vellus hair will grow back at the same rate and texture.
Terminal hair (which you may find an occasional one on your upper lip or chin area) is more coarse, and behaves differently than vellus hair.

If you want your skin to love you even more, pair dermaplaning with a hydrogen oxygen facial. Your skin will be plump and hydrated for summer 😘
