Ahhh… where do I start? This is a repeat set of ladies as this wedding consisted of 2 past brides! The bride Meaghan herself, has been a bridesmaid in prior weddings our team has done as well! (Check out these gorgeous photos of her bridal makeup)

Something about seeing the growth as an artist each time you get to glam the same faces😍 Next up, Evolve Salon in Monroe was gracious enough to let Saige & I feel like family for the morning! This salon team is top notch and seriously the sweetest ever.

Meaghan and I decided to do some fun and game changing tweaks to her trial run we did! We warmed up the colors in her eyes, lightened up and made her brows a smidge more natural, and actually went in with MaryKay CC cream instead of the foundation we originally used. (I’ve loved transitioning my kit to include MaryKay products) Meaghan was glowing and so obsessed with her finished bridal makeup! 💍🥂💍

Kristen was a bridesmaid in my last year’s October 26th wedding, and this year the rolls reversed with her now being the BRIDE! This Airbnb location also turned into their ceremony location without that being the plan😍 Glamming Kristen and her family and friends was truly an honor and so much fun yesterday!

💄Big Announcement ✂️

After over 15 amazing years behind the chair, I’ve made the decision to close this chapter of my cosmetology journey. Starting December 1st, I will no longer be working in the salon and will be focusing solely on my bridal hair & makeup business, as well as my personal mental health, physical health & wellness!

My last day behind the chair will be at the end of November, and I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has sat in my chair, trusted me with your hair, shared your stories, and supported me through the years. You’ve been more than clients — you’ve become friends & family, a huge part of my life.

Part of this decision also comes from a more personal place — my foot surgery recovery hasn’t gone quite as expected. While I had hoped to be back to 100% by now, the long days on my feet behind the chair have continued to cause inflammation and swelling that impact my day-to-day life. After a lot of thought (and listening to my body), I know this is the best step forward for my health and overall well-being.

This decision wasn’t easy, but it’s the right time to grow in a new direction and give my all to the bridal world, which has truly become my passion.

If you need help finding a new stylist, I’m happy to give recommendations which will be posted below to keep things easier and hopefully helpful!

Thank you again for the love, laughs, and loyalty. I’m so grateful for this beautiful community we’ve built — and I can’t wait to share what’s ahead in this next chapter. 💕

This weekend we had the pleasure of glamming Tess & her girls for her big day. The day was absolutely beautiful: from getting ready in a family home, to the ceremony at the rotary garden, and the great bridal party speeches (dinner and dessert was pretty amazing as well)
