Some are spending their lives seeing to someone else/others being happy. I feel as if 'someone else' has the SAME opportunity as I do, to make their own self HAPPY.
This is why it's good to teach your children to GO and create their own happiness; but yet you find a lot of parents are teaching their children to 'parent-please, or people please.'
Kids need their own sense of self, and to know what makes them feel happy deep down inside. Not what makes the parent(s) or others happy.
Bachelor's, spinsters, and divorced are often the results of living a life pleasing others. On the flip-side, unhealthy relationships form as the result of unhappiness. Settling for less, unrealistic expectations, and the inability to make your own decisions without someone else's input.
Depression is another result of unhappiness.
Unhappy is unhealthy.
Health and happiness is PRICELESS, a satisfaction that money cannot compare to.
YOU are at the top of your own chart; see to that person.
Teach your kids to be happy and independent, and don't interfere in their personal adult lives.

After 3 years, I've finally put something on the wall.
Well, sort of.
I've had this huge metal piece for the entire time, but am ALWAYS looking for better.
Couldn't find it; so I decided to go ahead and give it a try..for now..and I was just about to throw it in the garage sale.

I was outside cute yesterday..
A cute summer ponytail, cute summer dress and flip flops.
Today, I'm bed-bound.

And...
This is my happy place.
Just me and the machine(s).
