pt one: consultation when the hair already looks good
They are worth the few mins they take to map out what the client wants.
Her hair still looks good, she likes it, but came in for a reason.
De-coding is worth the time when you and your client already have years of trust! Keep their trust!
This was actually more like 15-20 mins in real time.

The facts really are, I don’t take it personal if this happens.
I want every client to love their hair and if the expectation can’t be met by me I will send them to a different stylist.
Whether it’s one of my girls of maybe even another salon. It doesn’t have to be taboo.
For the stylists - take a deep breath and know we aren’t for everyone!
For the clients - talk to your stylist and see if there is a way to make you happiest and please be respectful because we are artists!
