I help women everyday inside the salon feel confident in their hair…but my own hair has been something I’ve quietly struggled with for years.
Between postpartum hair loss and covid hair loss my hair just never recovered.
I took a break a while back from extensions.
Not because I didn’t love them, but simply because I was struggling to hide them no matter how perfectly colored or placed they were.
You could see the row through my paper thin hair.
So I cut my hair short thinking it would look thicker.
It didn’t work, only emphasized what I was struggling with the most.

It’s easy to feel like the only one struggling to love your hair, but you’d be surprised to find how many women feel the same exact way you do.

People don’t avoid extensions because they’re “bad”… they avoid them because of the lies. 🤷♀️
But honestly? I wish someone would’ve told me this sooner:
Myth 1️⃣: “Extensions will destroy your real hair.”
😬 The wrong artist might BUT the right install can actually protect your hair and help it grow longer between appointments.
Myth 2️⃣: “Tight or uncomfortable extensions are normal.”
No thank you. Pain, tension, headaches, feeling “pulled”… none of that is normal. Healthy extensions should be so comfortable you forget you’re wearing them.
Myth 3️⃣: “Extensions are super high-maintenance.” That’s only if they’re installed wrong or not matched to your lifestyle. When they’re done correctly, extensions make your hair easier — fewer bad hair days, quicker styling, and way more confidence.
