⚠️ PLEASE READ – MESSAGE TO OUR COMMUNITY ⚠️

Today, our salon experienced one of the most disrespectful situations we’ve ever had.

A client came in for a pedicure after getting her nails done somewhere else. Everything was fine until it was time to choose a polish color. She insisted that her toes match the exact off-white color of her acrylic nails β€” but wanted it done using regular nail polish.
We did our best to accommodate her by trying multiple shades and explaining professionally why an exact match isn’t possible with regular polish.

However, she rejected every option. She insisted on using a specific DND brand color that we do not carry, and repeatedly stated that OPI is a β€œcheap brand,” dismissing the products we use in our salon.
Things quickly escalated.

She started yelling at our staff, refused to pay the full service (offering only $10), and became verbally aggressive. She threatened our business, harassed our employees, and made extremely offensive and racist remarks β€” including threatening to call ICE on us.

For our safety, we had to call the police.

She waited outside for nearly an hour, continuing to cause disruption, before eventually coming back and paying.

Let us be very clear:

We are hardworking people. We show up every day, provide honest service, and treat every client with respect. We do not deserve to be disrespected, threatened, or targeted because of who we are.

πŸ’” This is not just about one incident β€” this is about basic human respect.

If you support small businesses, please stand with us:βœ” Treat service workers with kindnessβœ” Respect professional boundariesβœ” Speak up against racism and harassment

We are sharing this to raise awareness so this kind of behavior is not repeated β€” to us or to any other salon.

Thank you to our loyal clients who continue to support and respect our team. We appreciate you more than you know.
