This is pretty cool. I discovered the Etsy shop Nordikreations a few years ago -- love her work and the history and research she puts into all of her handmade jewelry. The History Channel's show Vikings has purchased several of her pieces to use in upcoming Season 3! Artist Phyllis is inspired by archaeological finds and artwork from the Viking Age. I own a couple of these earrings pictured, and purchased others to give as Christmas gifts to my daughters, nieces and sisters/sisters-in-law. Here are 5 of the 11 items purchased by the Vikings Series Season 3 studio when they were filming this summer in Ireland. Watch the Vikings on the History Channel starting on Thursday, February 19 to see if they used any of my jewelry. The English princess is probably wearing the earrings I last posted. I will post the rest of the items they purchased shortly. My daughter was kind enough to make this collage, since I don't know how.
