One of my favorite things about structured gel is watching what happens when clients finally give their natural nails the protection they need to grow.
This is the SAME set of natural nails — June 28 ➡️ September 14.
On a daily basis, I hear things like:
“My natural nails have never been this long in my life!”
“No one ever believes these are my real nails.”
“I didn’t even know my nails could look like this.”
That’s exactly why I love structured gel so much. It’s not about making your nails look healthy for a couple of weeks. It can give your natural nails the chance to grow past the point where they normally break, peel, or get bitten (jewels not tools, ladies)👀
You don’t necessarily need extensions to have long, beautiful nails. Sometimes your natural nails just need a little protection + consistency + time.

Gel-X does not fit MOST people’s nail beds straight out of the box. You need to be properly adjusting the size of each nail tip to each nail bed by filing down the sides as needed. If not, the overhang will sit on the clients cuticle/skin and lift the whole nail quickly. A full set of Gel-X with removal of previous set takes me about 60-75 mins for reference! If your Gel X lifts this could be the culprit.
