Major blonding on a natural milk chocolate brunette. I think I was more scared than her about her transformation, not to be jaded and generalize but sometimes a client might see themselves with the complete opposite than what they’re used to and have a mini crisis. Sometimes I’ll baby my clients and over express how temporary color can be, as long as it’s within a specific time frame we can always make tweaks and adjustments to make sure my clients are feeling their absolute best and most confident. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case with her, and she was absolutely in love with her hair straight from the chair✨

Super soft lived in bronde✨
She asked for something low maintenance and different before re-blonding for summer and I definitely believe the goal was achieved. This puts her at only two foil appointments per year bc of how soft this will grow out with maybe one or two glossing/toning appts in between if she chooses to do so.

Even though my client got a full head of hair extensions, in this post, I want to talk about the area around her face specifically.
In the past, she got a haircut (not by me) in which they cut far too deep into her bangs, almost as far back as her ears in an attempt to give her a curtain bang with face framing. since then, we have let her hair grow out as much as possible in order to fill that area back in. However, it occurred to me why not fill those areas in with hair extensions? so I did.
A traditional install would not have extensions in the bang area however had I done her install without doing so, her extensions would look unfinished or would not be seamless. Putting two mini wefts on either side of her bangs that allowed for the whole look to be pulled together.
Now this little hack can also work if you feel you have a similar problem, but you don’t want a full head of extensions. It is possible to just fill-in the face framing area by just adding two little wefts and seamlessly blending them into your own natural hair and length. It’s a much cheaper hair extension service that still gives a punchy change to your look. Lmk if you want to know more or are interested in a similar service!😘
