Do you use hairspray for hold right before using your flat iron or curling iron?
That may be one of the reasons why your hair color fades quicker than it should.
Most hairsprays contain alcohol. Alcohol is overly drying on its own. When it’s paired with heat directly on your hair shortly after getting a fresh color, you are literally stripping that perfect toner right off. You may think you’re doing yourself a favor by applying hairspray to hold that curl, but you’re actually fast tracking the need for your next color touch up ASAP.
Instead, try using a hair primer with a light hold BEFORE blow drying to help your hair hold a curl. And of course, don’t forget to use an aerosol heat protectant that will 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 protect your hair from damage & color fade. 💕
