This is brilliant. I never thought to cut the strip using another as a guide. Much easier than cleaning up all the excess from a strip that is too big. I’m trying this next time.

❄️ This winter seems to be really harsh on my nails. Not sure why... but they're super brittle and breaking. I wanted to share my favorite tips and products to get through this if you're having the same troubles as me.

1️⃣ Don't use acetone. It's really harsh on your hands & nails. But nothing can replace those scrubber tubs that get the polish off so fast! Grab a new acetone tub, dump the acetone, pour in Mineral Fusion Nail Polish Remover instead. It works just as fast as acetone, but it's way better for your hands!

2️⃣ OPI Nail Envy: Use this under your nail strips every time. I apply 1 coat and let it fully dry. Buff the Nail Envy so it's nice & smooth, wash hands, wipe with nail prep pad, apply strips as usual. *One thing to note is your strips will stick to the Nail Envy really well. So make sure you place it in the right spot because it's hard to peel the strips up once it contacts the Nail Envy.

3️⃣ Hard as Hoof: Use this nail & cuticle cream daily. I apply it to my nails every night before bed.

4️⃣ O'Keeffe's Working Hands: If your hands are really dry, use this lotion every night. It's the best!!
