We like it BIG like Texas! ✨

My bride Nikki traveled all the way from SoCal for her bridal hair trial just a few days before her wedding day. At first, we went with the Signature Side part Hollywood Waves she had been dreaming about. She was immediately drawn to the look, and the style turned out beautifully. She looked absolutely stunning but she didn’t feel like herself.

So during the trial, we decided to do a middle part Half Up Half Down style. I didn’t want her to leave unsatisfied and I wanted to help her figure out which style made her feel the most confident. She liked it a little more and felt that it was more “her,” but she still wasn’t completely sure it was the right fit. And to be honest… that’s okay! This is exactly why bridal trials are so important and it’s my job to help you. The purpose isn’t always to leave your trial knowing exactly what you want. Sometimes, the trial helps you discover what doesn’t feel right so we can narrow it down and create something that truly does.

On the wedding day, we decided to take parts from the styles we had tried and find that perfect balance. We did a middle part, all hair down, and LOTS of volume. ✨
And that’s how we created what I like to call the “Texas Style” because they like it BIG and VOLUMINOUS over there! 😂 And honestly, I think we finally nailed it. My bride absolutely LOVED her hair, and it was exactly what she had envisioned. 🥹❤️

✨Miss Golden Capital✨

Thank you to everyone who voted and brought Miss Golden Capital to Top 2 in the People’s Choice competition and for supporting her throughout the Miss CA USA competition. It was an amazing experience and was a HUGE HONOR to have worked with Bella Lor again. Ever since our first time working together when she was still in high school, to her taking the crown as your Miss Hmong CA, and now representing Miss Golden Capital at the big stage of Miss CA USA. She has grown beautifully into a woman that inspires not just other women but the youth and whole community. We are so proud of Bella! This was an incredible moment for me to witness and I’m so grateful to see her shine because she truly embodies what a Queen is! She is the most genuine and thoughtful person I’ve met. More importantly I love how passionate she is about her work and the positive impact she has on the community. I know it does not stop here and I can’t wait to see her continue her growth! ❤️🙏

Had a great time glamming at Miss California + Miss California Teen this week hosted here in Fresno. This glam was from yesterday, Day 2 with Serenity, your current Miss City of Fresno Teen. She was a delegate for Miss California Teen and I’m super proud of her for being a role model to all the young ladies and the youth. No matter where she goes, she’ll always shine! Her passion for education and bubbly personality is so inspiring to see. I truly wish Serenity all the best in her future! 🎀🙏

My beautiful Bride Vickie got married in Santa Barbara and it was such an intimate experience. It was an honor witnessing them share their love with each other and with their close friends and family. Some times all you need is the important people in your life, get out of town and marry your best friend in an unforgettable place!
